Widnes News
Widnes is an industrial town on the River Mersey. It was the base for numerous chemical factories, although in more recent years it has diversified into a wider variety of industries. It has a strong Rugby league following, with its team the Widnes Vikings. There are currently 425 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Seniors and Leaders.
