Improving Communication within Cheshire Forest

In order to improve communication within the County, each unit Leader has been subscribed to our eUpdate service.

 

What is an eUpdate and what are the benefits of receiving them?
An eUpdate is simply an email which contains important information and links to things such as event flyers, trainings and booking forms.

 

We have over 700 Adult Volunteers within the County and this service will allow us to distribute information to a large number of people in a short time frame.

 

You will receive information direct to your inbox, enabling you to keep up-to-date with events, trainings and other important announcements.

 

How often will I receive the eUpdates?
We intend to send out an update once every 3 weeks, but on occasions there may be last minute announcements or important things that we need to communicate sooner.


I am a Leader in Cheshire Forest, but I haven't received any eUpdates?
If you are not receiving the updates, there are a few things that you can do:


Ensure that an up-to-date email address is listed in GO!


Add this email address to your address book to tell your email system that emails from this address are allowed: mailing@cheshireforest.org.uk

 

Check your Spam/Junk folder in case it has been delivered there by mistake. If you find the email in there, mark it as 'not spam' so that future emails will be delivered to your inbox

I am a new leader, when will I start receiving the eUpdates?

We will update our email list on a regular basis, based on the information we have in our County database. If you want to ensure that you are added sooner, you can subscribe here or email us: mailing@cheshireforest.org.uk

 

Help us by updating your subscription preferences

It would really help us if you would update your subscription preferences. This includes things such as what section you work with and whether you would be interested in getting involved with County events. To do this, click on 'Update subscription preferences' at the bottom of the eUpdate.


I don't want to receive the updates, how can I unsubscribe from the list?
At the bottom of the email there is an 'unsubscribe from this list' link.


I don't have an email account or access to the internet, how will I be able to keep
up-to-date?

This service is not replacing any of our existing communication methods such as Forest News and information will still be passed on through Division and District meetings in the usual way.
