DESCRIPTION:Guides and Beyond is back for 2026. This is a joint Cheshire Border county and Cheshire Forest county event.\n\n\n\n\nSat 28th February 9.30am to 1st March 2pm 2026\n\nVenue: Pettypool\n\nThe event is open to Guides/young leaders in school years 8\, 9 and 10. This event is a sleepover with activities throughout\, including sessions to find out what Girlguiding has to offer.\n\nFull payment is £55. \nOnce payment has been received\, the space will be reserved.\n\nThe deadline for Booking is 8th February at the latest. SUMMARY:Brownies Forest Fun Day - Booking closed
DESCRIPTION:Thank you for your interest in this event. This event is now at capacity\, so booking is now closed.\nJoin us on Sunday\, 8th March\, where brownies can explore Pettypool whilst completing all the activities to achieve the Wayfinder interest badge and skills builder Explorer 2 of the Have Adventures theme. \nThis is a leader-led event where you will receive all the resources you need to complete the required activities at the petty pool site. You will also be able to use the play areas and zip wire\, visit the shop\, and even sing a song or two at the campfire circle. \nThe event will run from 9 am to 3 pm – arrival and departure information will be shared closer to the event to allow for parking and drop-offs. \nCost is £20 per Brownie (Adults and young leaders are free). This includes the Wayfinder Interest Badge\, the Explore Stage 2 Skills Builder\, and a special Brownie Forest Fun Day Badge. Girls will be given an Adventure Passport to record all activities and provide evidence for the badges awarded. \nGirls will need to bring a packed lunch\, and tea and coffee will be available throughout the day for all adults. \nThere will be a first aider on site\, but units must bring their own first-aid kits. \nLeaders are responsible for maintaining ratios for their units. \nPlease book using this form. \nFor further information\, please contact events@cheshireforest.org.uk

DESCRIPTION:We are holding a Going Away With training session on Saturday 21 March\, 9:30am – 2:45pm \nThe day will provide the opportunity to understand the Going Away With Scheme and to learn about the fantastic opportunities that can be gained through guiding in a residential setting. \nThe training is for qualified leaders wishing to undertake their Going Away With Qualification to take their unit on a residential\, or leaders already qualified who would like a refresher.
