Queens Platinum Jubilee Beacon Lighting
Cheshire Forest is delighted to have been chosen as one of the Counties to light an official Girlguiding Beacon to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. This will take place at 9.50pm on Frodsham Hill, but unfortunately not everyone across the County will be able to take part on the night. We would therefore like to give you the opportunity to take part, by having your unit photos embedded into a County presentation that can be shown on a loop during the event.
We would like to invite all units, members and Trefoil Guild groups across Cheshire Forest to participate by decorating ‘tea light’ lanterns, taking photos and sending them to us for inclusion in the presentation. As a thank you for taking part, County will provide you with an official Platinum Jubilee Badge fun badge and a battery operated tea light (to put inside your lantern), along with some ideas for decorating.
