Camp Cooking Challenge

We are running an event for Guides and Rangers (and YLs), to do outdoor camp cooking on a fire.

If you enjoy fire-lighting, cooking, teamwork and getting creative in the kitchen, this event is for you!

You will be given a set of ingredients to use and a recipe card, then you’ll light your fire and cook a two course meal in teams of no more than four people.

There will be some spot prizes for things like best fire, best teamwork, best meal presentation.

Ideally we would like each unit to send one leader with their teams. If for any reason this isn’t possible, please contact the organising team by emailing cooking@cheshireforest.org.uk and we will see if we can help, as we wouldn’t want any girls to have to miss out.
