International Opportunities Applications Now Open
Are you interested in applying for Girlguiding international opportunities in 2026 at a county level?
Participant applications are now open for the 2026 Cheshire Forest County trip. To apply, please fill in the online application form here: COUNTY APPLICATION FORM
If you have applied through the region form for a county trip – you do not need to fill in another form, Region will pass us your application so no need to fill in another form.
The deadline for county applications is 5 February 2025.
Location
Trip location will be announce on the IntOps Weekend
2026 – will be a short haul / European trip (you must be aged 14 – 18 by 31 July 2026), in the region of £1,800-2,000.
What’s next?
If your application is successful, you will be invited to join us at our annual INTOPS weekend on 1 – 2 March 2025 – full details to be confirmed, cost £35.

FAQ
I applied for the region trip do I need to come to the county IntOps?
If your Region application is successful then you will need to attend both the County & Region Selection weekends.
Does Cheshire Forest county run an ICE trip?
No for ICE trips, Guides 11-13, these are run at Region level only. Participants are required to apply to Region directly
What accommodation is the IntOps Weekend?
You will be camping at the IntOps Weekend
How can we fund an international trip?
Participants will be expected to fundraise the cost of the trip, support will be provided. Fundraising ideas include: holding events, running raffles, applying for grants and sponsorships to name a few.
