We’re part of a truly global movement so Girlguiding can offer members a huge range of amazing international adventures.

Cheshire Forest County Trips

Guides and Senior Section members

Each year the County runs an international trip which takes place during the summer holidays. These trips are usually within Europe and may include joining an international Guide or Scout camp / jamboree in another country or it may be attending an international event in the UK. Guides and Senior Section members aged 14-17 at the time of the event can apply to be considered for a place on a County trip.

Adult leaders

Adult leaders also have the opportunity to apply to be a leader on a County trip. This involves planning and leading the trip alongside another leader. Leaders will also need to meet with the Guides to help advise with things such as fundraising and facilitate times to allow the group to get to know each other before the event.

Region Trips

Guides and Senior Section members

Girlguiding North West England run a number of trips each year for members from all over the North West. Potential participants are usually nominated by each County within the Region. These trips have more of a focus on community action and development. Previous trips have included places such as Morocco, Japan and Madagascar.

Adult leaders

Adult leaders also have the opportunity to apply to be a leader on a Region trip. Details will be posted on the Girlguiding North West England website as they become available.

Gold

Guiding Overseas Linked with Development (GOLD) enables young women to develop their potential and make a difference in the world.
