Outdoor Cooking Challenge 26
Guides and Rangers (& YLs), are you ready to show us your skills in outdoor cooking?
If you enjoy fire-lighting, teamwork and getting creative in the kitchen, this event is for you!
You will be given a set of ingredients to use and a recipe card, then you’ll light your fire and cook a two course meal in teams of no more than four.
There will be some spot prizes for things like best fire, best teamwork, best meal presentation
Where: Pettypool Activity Centre
When: Sun 12th July 2026, 11.00am
Cost: £25 per team

Ideally each unit sending teams would also send a leader to supervise them around the fire. No need for one per team of 4, if you have multiple teams they can all be situated next to each other so you can oversee them all together. If you are unable to do this, please contact us.
