The University of Liverpool is hosting their second exciting marvellous medicine badge days at the University of Liverpool, Central teaching Laboratories for Guiding and Scouting groups. They will be providing hands on, fun science activities and of course a badge!

They have space for around 350 young participants per event, approximately 200 x 5-10 year olds and 150 x 10-16 year olds. This year they are running an entry ballot which will be open from Monday 26th January 2026 until Friday 13th February 2026. To be in with a chance to secure a place for your unit, please complete the ballot entry form (https://tinyurl.com/MarvMedicine ). After the form closes, there will be a draw to allocate places.
* Places will be allocated week commencing 16th February 2026 and charged based upon the number of participant given on this form. Please ensure this number is accurate as refunds for unused, paid for places is not possible and prevents other groups from attending the event.
* The sessions will cost £8 per participant which includes the badge. Leaders are free. * Successful group leaders will receive and email offering there unit a place and providing payment details. * Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. Payments should be made within 2 weeks otherwise your space will be offered to another group on our waiting list.
* Units will be responsible for ensuring ratios, collecting consent forms and first aid for their group.
* Supervising adults (leaders and parent volunteers) should adhere to Girlguiding (https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/information-for-volunteers/growing-our-membership/recruiting-volunteers/involving-parents/) safeguarding policies for DBS checks.
*Priority will be given to groups who did not attend Marvellous Medicine or SciJam in 2025.
